Stream Equipment

Console video/audio

(if you're looking for my old equipment, here is the list, but i no longer use it)

3DS

I stream this using 3DS capture. This does not seem to be available any longer but you can check out the forums there for ppl buying and selling theirs.

My 3DS supports gamecube input, w/ custom mapping.

DOS games

I speedrun DOS games on DOSbox 0.74. If you are interested in speedrunning DOS games, remember to set your CPU cycles to 100%. (Explanation) (How to set it)

I play DOS games using a Super Nintendo controller. You can use a SNES to USB adapter for this, but USB conversion introduces input lag. I installed a PCIe parallel port card and use a SNES to Parallel adapter instead (these were birthday gifts from Dorkmaster Flek). This requires using ppjoy and JoyToKey to map buttons to keyboard inputs.

Input Displays and Controller Adapters

SNES, N64, and Gamecube inputs are all Arduino based. You take an Arduino board, attach an input and output cable for your controller, attach USB cable, and load the board with NintendoSpy firmware.

hitokage220 made my SNES/N64 adapters and cdgexe made my Gamecube adapter. BluntBunny made the skin for my SNES input display.

For some games you may see me using an input display that does not match the console it is being played on. That is because sometime I use a SNES to Gamecube adapter (for Virtual Console and Game Boy Player), a Gamecube to N64 adapter (for some n64 games), and a SNES to NES adapter (for pretty much all NES games).
